To lead well you must be bold, have passion and have purpose. In our business, we get to meet people who have all three of these leadership characteristics and find that many have a mantra or philosophy for their leadership style and approach.
One leader I especially admire is a VP of Manufacturing. He is a man of great character and lives out his faith daily in the workplace. He recently shared with me the 6 questions he asks himself every day. These questions help him be the best version of himself, stay “on track” in meeting his goals, and bring out the best in others as well. These questions add “definition” to his leadership style, and actually encompass all a leader needs to do to help achieve greatness.
These questions resonated with me so much, I printed his email, carry it with me, and ask myself the same questions daily. I asked his permission to share his wisdom with others. Not surprisingly, he said there was no need to credit him–that he simply hopes these questions are a blessing to folks. They’ve certainly been a blessing to me. I hope they inspire you as well!
