The Welcome House Executive Search Committee was co-chaired by board of directors’ chairperson Katie Koch, of St. Elizabeth Physicians, and incoming board chairperson Tom Hausterman, in collaboration with Centennial’s vice president of client engagement, Becky Scheeler.

“We were very pleased with the caliber and quality of candidates, each with an impressive skill set, that were presented to the Welcome House for this critical leadership position,” states Scheeler. “Danielle’s experience working with multiple populations, in addition to her energy and passion made it evident that she was the ‘right’ leader who would help accomplish the Welcome House’s vision and mission.”

Danielle is a Licensed Social Worker and holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Kentucky.  She used those skills working with victims of domestic violence as a Women’s Advocate for the YWCA House of Peace Domestic Violence Shelter in Cincinnati.  She also has firsthand experience coordinating case management and counseling services for military personnel and their families as a supervisor for the Cincinnati chapter of the American Red Cross. In addition, Danielle has been an adjunct instructor at the College of Mt. Tom Hausterman, Welcome House incoming board chairperson comments, “Becky Scheeler provided a clear picture of the pathway, supported us with key information and questions, and went above and beyond when communicating regarding anything we needed in the process. Without Becky’s knowledge, guidance, and understanding of the organization needs, we would have not made a successful hire. Becky was a valuable asset, and we are delighted with the addition of Danielle.”
